As a Pharmacy Technician, you’ll be at the heart of our operations, ensuring patients receive the vital medications and medical supplies they need, all while building strong relationships and delivering exceptional service.
What You’ll Do:
- Be a Lifeline for Patients: Build and maintain meaningful relationships with patients and caregivers, assisting them in scheduling deliveries, confirming orders, and meeting their medication needs.
- Medication & Supply Management: Assist our pharmacists in preparing and dispensing life-changing medications while ensuring timely, accurate shipment of medical supplies.
- Hybrid Flexibility: Enjoy a mix of remote administrative work and onsite responsibilities, including picking, packing, and shipping patient orders.
- Problem-Solving Hero: Process patient benefits and payments, and collaborate with clinical staff to resolve any complex cases, ensuring a seamless experience for all.
- Collaboration & Care: Work closely with intake teams and physician offices to ensure timely, safe, and compliant delivery of patient care.
- Monitor & Support: Help track patient compliance, assess any adverse reactions, and ensure patients are getting the most from their therapy.
What You Bring:
- Experience That Matters: At least 1 year of pharmacy or healthcare customer service experience (Specialty Pharmacy experience is a big plus!).
- Certifications: A current Illinois Pharmacy Technician License and National Technician Certification.
- Skills for Success: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, attention to detail, multitasking ability, and excellent communication skills.
- A Team Player: Someone with a passion for customer service, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while supporting your colleagues.
